Airtrap was established in 2022 and was founded on the basis that mould testing devices had not developed in over 20 years! In collaboration with key figures in the field, AirTrap was launched in 2024.
Dan Baxter and Jason Earle, known throughout the US, have been invaluable to the development of the AirTrap range. Their knowledge and expertise have helped us shape the new generation of mould capture devices.
Although testing for mould in the UK is relatively uncommon, mould is a growing threat to the lives of millions of people! Our test can quantifiably show the quality of air within a property, indicating elevated levels of mould and air particulates associated with poor health and wellbeing.

What does AirTrap do?
Airtrap has created a simple and affordable air sampling cassette called Airtrap XL that can be used with all 15 litre air sampling pumps on the market.
Once you’ve collected your sample, you send it to our AI-powered lab, which will identify mould and other potentially harmful spores in the environment and will send you a comprehensive report on the particles that your mould testing cassette has collected

Ease of ordering
Our air quality monitoring cassettes are available to be bulk bought online in packs of 24 to help you keep costs down and easy to re-order. We also sell other necessary equipment including the air pump, a calibration tool and adapters.
AI Analysis
When you’ve completed your tests, simply fill in the
enclosed Mould Sample Return Form and send it back to the Airtrap lab for it to
undergo analysis.

Once we’ve analysed your samples, you will receive a comprehensive air quality report detailing our findings. Our report will quantify and identify the airborne contaminants present in the sample, including 90+ mould spores and 10+ air particulates.
